			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>O Centro para Aprendizagem de Empreendedorismo da Escola de &#8220;Negócios&#8221; da Universidade de Cambridge tem todas as terças-feira uma palestra com um convidado, ao que dão o nome de <a href="http://www.cfel.jbs.cam.ac.uk/programmes/enterprise/index.html">Enterprise Tuesday</a>.</p>
<p>A palestra aborda temas relacionados com inovação, empreendedorismo e gestão de empresas. As palestras têm sempre plateia completa e são extremamente interactivas. Definitivamente um evento de presença obrigatória para quem se interessa pelo mundo dos negócios!</p>
<p>Um dos convidados para este evento foi um senhor chamado Levi Roots que veio falar sobre o seu negócio dos molhos.</p>
<p>WTF?! Ok, eu explico&#8230;</p>
<p>Os espectadores da BBC podem assistir a um programa de &#8220;empreendedorismo&#8221; chamado <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/dragonsden">Dragons&#8217; Den</a>. Este programa não é nada mais nada menos que um Ídolos para ideias de negócios. Os concorrentes têm de apresentar a sua ideia de negócio a um grupo de potenciais investidores. Ou os concorrentes são escumalhados e ridicularizados na televisão pública ou é-lhes oferecida uma oportunidade de negócio.</p>
<p>Levi Roots apresentou de uma forma original um molho de receita caseira de um ascendente. Criou uma música e utilizou (reza a história que já antes utilizava) os seus dotes musicais para vender o molho e a ideia de negócio. Será que ele pensava que estava no Ídolos?! Continuando&#8230;</p>
<p>Escusado será dizer que dois dos investidores acharam a ideia fantástica e decidiram investir no negócio. E que ideia foi essa?! Na minha opinião foi a ideia de como vender um produto e criar uma marca!</p>
<p>O molho, apesar de ter um gostinho agradável, não apresentou nada de novo&#8230; No entanto, este marketing guerrilha foi muito eficaz e, com todo o mérito, uma marca nasceu nesse momento. Levi Roots, num estilo à Bob Marley, criou uma popular música, escreveu um livro e eficientemente aproveitou o suporte que teve dos investidores. Do momento da apresentação pública dos molhos <a href="http://www.reggae-reggae.co.uk">Reggae Reggae Sauce</a> até superar a Heinz na venda de Ketchups, foi uma questão de meses.</p>
<p>Não posso deixar de frisar uma excelente manobra de negócios. A empresa de Levi Roots não produz e vende os molhos&#8230; Basicamente, a empresa gere a marca de molhos e trata de alguma publicidade. A receita e a marca dos molhos foi totalmente licenciada a uma empresa externa que tem os recursos necessários para produzir e comercializar os molhos a nível nacional.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Um colega convidou-me esta semana para ir assistir a um discurso público que ele ia fazer. Sem vontade e a prever um frio de morte à volta, lá decidi ir e assistir ao discurso que ele fez aqui em Cambridge num clube the &#8220;Public Speakers&#8221;.</p>
<p>Então o que é um clube de &#8220;Public Speakers&#8221;? Basicamente, é um grupo de pessoas que se reune a cada quinze dias para discursar em público. Durante duas horas existem diferentes tipos de actividades, tarefas e papéis a desempenhar. As pessoas que relalizam esta actividade são chamadas de <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toastmaster">Toastmasters</a>.</p>
<p>Normalmente uma sessão divide-se em três partes: &#8220;Table Topics&#8221;, &#8220;Prepared Speeches&#8221; e &#8220;Evaluation&#8221;.</p>
<p>A primeira parte da sessão consiste em discursos não preparados com um máximo de dois minutos e geralmente aberto a convidados. O &#8220;Table Topics Toastmaster&#8221; coordena o tema da noite e convida cada pessoa a subir ao palco e a falar sobre o tema.</p>
<p>De seguida sobem ao palco os Toastmasters com discursos preparados. Cada discurso tem objectivos diferentes.</p>
<p>Por último, cada discurso preparado é avaliado em forma de discurso também.</p>
<p>Cada sessão tem papéis específicos que são desempenhados aleatóriamente pelos membros. A título de exemplo, o Timekeeper controla os tempos e o Grammarian controla a gramática e &#8220;uhmms&#8221; e &#8220;ahmms&#8221;.</p>
<p>Por muito estranho que o clube seja, é engraçado assistir e participar. Eu fiz um discurso Table Topics&#8230; :)</p>
